January 5, 2005 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – US shared web hosting provider Host Color (http://www.hostcolor.com) announced yesterday that it has included the Zen Shopping Cart as part of its ‘Mega Pack’ web hosting plan. The Zen Shopping Cart is based on open source osCommerce software and will be available to Host Color customers as a pre-installed option accessible through the company’s ‘Next Color’ control panel.
"Zen is a popular online shopping cart that corresponds to the rapid development and extensive functionality that we provide with our service. It is a tool that enables website owners to quickly set up their online store with Host Color hosting plans," suggested Vesselin Drangajov, Host Color's Executive Director.
Host Color also announced that it has simplified the installation process for all online applications. Those available to its customers include phpBB message board, WordPress blog, Image Gallery and Joomla. A new version (version 2.0) of its Next Color hosting control panel was also recently announced.
