Titan Internet, the company that hosts the website for Strictly Come Dancing stars Vincent & Flavia, has reported a big rise in traffic coinciding with the dancers’ hugely popular Midnight Tango live tour.
Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace are performing their stunning tango routines in front of audiences around the UK throughout the summer.
Up to 15,000 people have been visiting www.vincentandflavia.com each week since the tour was announced. Almost 20,000 visited when the tickets for the tour first went on sale – a 30% rise on the previous year.
Lee Christie, Director of Titan Internet, said: “When we host websites for celebrities like Vincent & Flavia we always take into account the fact that there will be spikes of traffic at certain times of the year, when they’re touring or appearing on the TV, so our servers and network are more than capable of handling the extra demands. We expect another big surge in interest when Vincent and Flavia are back on our screens for Strictly later in the year.”
Vincent and Flavia will be among the professional line-up when the ninth series of Strictly Come Dancing airs on the BBC this autumn. Visits to the couple’s website rise to between 30,000 and 40,000 a week when Strictly is being broadcast.
Vincent & Flavia will perform Midnight Tango in Edinburgh, Norwich, Bristol and Southend over the next four weeks. The tour finishes in Glasgow on 30th July.
