TRUSTe (http://www.truste.org) is a nonprofit organization enabling trust based on privacy for personal information on the internet.

As a TRUSTe licensed site, Uplinkearth is required to offer a set of user controls, including an email unsubscribe function, an opt-out function limiting the sharing of personally identifiable information (PII) with outside parties, and access management permitting users to update stored PII or have it changed by the company.
Uplinkearth must also utilize Secured Socket Layer (SSL) technology that encrypts pages collecting sensitive information, such as credit card numbers. There are also a set of requirements Uplinkearth’s privacy policy must meet pertaining to personally identifiable information collected by the company.
