Advanced Internet Techologies (AIT) is offering colocation services from its Fayetteville data center in North Carolina, USA from May 2013. The center's managed services (cloud options, dedicated servers and smart servers) were recently upgraded, while most recently its colocation space was updated.
AIT was founded in 1995 by ex-serviceman Clarence Briggs. It is one of the largest web hosting companies globally with a 93,000-square-foot data center at its Fayetteville Headquarters. The company caters to a broad customer base including small to medium sized companies and Fortune 500 companies.
"We’ve seen an influx of technologies in our space over the past few years, but colocation services in North Carolina offer a strategic geographical coverage that many companies are looking for," explained AIT's Chief Operating Officer Michael Roberts. "Over the past two years I’ve been with the company, we’ve put quite a lot into our infrastructure with new UPS systems, and cooling systems. The colocation area now is setup for success for enterprise-class needs," added AIT's Facilities Manager, Eric Brock.
