Web host and cloud-based services provider
HostPapa Inc. (HostPapa) has acquired Add2Net Inc.’s (Add2Net) shared hosting brands. Based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, HostPapa is noted for offering services using 100% renewable energy. These services include web hosting and cloud options which it offers to a global customer base of smaller enterprises. The Add2Net brands it has acquired included in the deal include E-Solutions, Lunarpages, PacificHost, and Santa Barbara Web Hosting. Financial aspects of the deal were not released.
Established in 1999, Add2Net has headquarters in California, United States and offers a range of services alongside shared hosting. These include web design services, website development and publication, and email hosting. The company also offers domain registration options. After the deal is completed Add2Net’s HostLabs brand will continue to offer VPS, dedicated servers, and Exchange hosting.
“We’re excited about the possibilities that this acquisition brings to HostPapa, including strengthening our position in the United States,” explained the CEO of HostPapa, Jamie Opalchuk. “Add2Net was in on the ground floor of the web hosting industry in 1999,” added the Add2Net’s CEO, Chad Riddle. “We’ve evolved and learned with this dynamic industry and have built profound expertise on how to provide top-quality service as well as the ability to offer market-leading products to our clientele. We are pleased to sell these brands to a company that will continue to provide the highest quality service for the unique needs of this segment of the industry.”
