HostPapa, Inc. (HostPapa) has partnered with ecommerce platform provider AbanteCart. HostPapa is a Canadian provider with head offices in Burlington, Ontario. The company prides itself on using 100% green renewable energy to offer web hosting and cloud-based services. Its partnership with AbanteCart will mean it is able to offer customers a “free, enterprise-grade ecommerce solution which is perfect for SMBs”. The solution is available through Softaculous in customers’ cPanel control panels.
AbanteCart is a free, Open Source, PHP-based ecommerce platform. The platform provides a shopping cart application that is ideal for smaller businesses. It is underpinned by a “fast, robust and expandable code base” and offers a “state of the art feature set and an efficient user interface”. AbanteCart is fast and secure and offers a range of tools to provide the best possible user experience. The partnership will enable HostPapa customers to access AbanteCart and “make their online buying and selling experience seamless”.
