Web Host and Domain Services Provider Doteasy Offers High School Seniors Scholarships
Web host and domain services provider Doteasy Technology Inc. (Doteasy) is offering scholarships for high school seniors. Doteasy, which has headquarters in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, was founded in 2000. The company offers a range of “award-winning hosting and domain services” including shared and SSD hosting alongside WordPress, Joomla and Drupal hosting. It also allows people to find their “perfect domain name” with .com, .net and .org domains costing $5CAD ($3.76). The company caters for over 500,000 websites and over 160,000 satisfied customers. Doteasy’s ‘Bright Future’ scholarships are available to high school seniors at all Canadian high schools.

‘Bright Future’ scholarships are designed to “encourage students to explore the value of websites for their educational or career path”. Prizes of 500-1000 Canadian dollars will be available for three winners to put towards their post-secondary education. Winners also receive “a full year of hosting and domain name services to make a website”. Those interested in the 2019 scholarships should apply through the company’s website before the deadline of March 31, 2019.

“We’ve been in business for over 19 years, but these days we’re seeing more of a need than ever for a website to advance your career,” explained Doteasy’s Marketing Manager, William Wah. “Crafting your online presence and having the skills to manage a website can have such an impact on your journey. We want to support students financially, and also wanted to give them the tools to see how a website could help their career flourish,” he added.
