Web Host APlus.net Offers New PDF to HTML Converter

April 18, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - Web hosting and design firm Aplus.Net announced today that they have developed a tool that converts PDF documents into standard web pages.

The conversion tool, called PDF2Web, allows web site owners to easily convert Adobe PDF documents into HTML code. Since PDF is the preferred format for print material like collateral, manuals, documentation, images, and graphics, PDF2Web is ideal for converting from the “old world” of print materials to the “new world” of online web pages.

HTML formatted text also allows for easier searching by site visitors.

In some cases, businesses with large volumes of print material can convert it to full Web sites with a minimum of hassle, facilitating the web design process.

“Our customers are savvy business owners who are typically very efficient and frugal. They would hate to trash all of their previous work and to start from a scratch designing their materials for the web,” explains Ivan Vachovsky, Chief Executive Officer of Aplus.Net. “PDF2Web resolves the issue by allowing all printed materials to be posted at company’s web site with a push of a button. This is yet another tool that Aplus.Net has added to help web site owners save time and money.”

PDF2Web is provided to web hosting customers at no charge. The tool is part of the Aplus.Net’s Control Panel, a collection of tools that allows customers to conveniently manage all of their hosting services, websites, FTP accounts, registered domains and emails from one location with a single log-in. Aplus.Net adds new tools and software to the Control Panel on a regular basis, and recently added blog publishing systems and community bulletin board software for web site owners.
