The companys customers can now choose from a list of popular Linux Distributions including Fedora Core, CentOS, Debian, and now Ubuntu for their OS when ordering a plan. The specific versions of Ubuntu offered on Cirrus Techs Linux VPS plans and dedicated servers are 6.1, 7.1, and 8.04.
Clients have been asking about Ubuntu for some time now, explained Cirrus Techs Sales Manager, Mani Aminian. Having concluded our testing of this OS on our systems, were happy to report that there are no issues running Ubuntu successfully on our servers and network.
