Web Host DreamHost Recognized by 2017 WorldBlu List
Web host DreamHost has been recognized by the 2017 WorldBlu List. Established in 1997 and with headquarters in Los Angeles, California, United States, DreamHost is a WordPress solutions specialist. The company’s services include shared hosting, dedicated hosting, Virtual Private Server (VPS) plans and domain name registration. It also offers ‘DreamObjects’, a cloud storage service, and ‘DreamCompute’, a cloud computing service. This is the tenth year in a row the company has been recognized by the list.

The ‘WorldBlu List of Freedom-Centered Workplaces’ honors public, private, non-profit organizations and educational institutions that employ “organizational democracy” practices that empower employees. The awards have particular focus on organizations that enable staff to have a say in how their organization is run.

To be eligible for the list, organizations must allow employees to complete a ‘Freedom at Work Scorecard’ that is used to assess a company’s suitability for inclusion. DreamHost was recognized for eight “clearly defined core values” that influence how decisions are made within the company.

“We’ve always worked hard to treat our people like people, and being recognized by WorldBlu for doing right for an entire decade only makes us want to do it more,” explained the Senior Director of People at DreamHost, Mr. Ed Wesley.
