November 3, 2008 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Easyspace, one of the largest web hosting and domain name providers in the UK, has announced a sale on .Me domain name registrations.
.Me, despite being the Country Code for Montenegro, has no geographic registration restrictions, meaning you can register it to personalise your presence on the web, whether it be via a personal webpage, online photo album, your own blog or even to give your business and brands a more personal feel.
.Me domain names are now available through Easyspace for just ฃ8 per domain year. Thats a saving of 50% on the standard selling price. The offer lasts until 30th November and anyone buying a full price domain name in the same transaction is eligible for the offer.
This offer complements the removal of the registration term restriction previously in place. Until October, .Me domains could only be bought in 2 year periods. Now, the domain is available for 1 year at a time.
Errol Vanderhorst, Sales and Marketing Director for Easyspace, commented ".Me has been one of the most popular domain extensions of the last few months. Being bought for business and personal use, it has certainly appealed to a wide variety of user. Just last month we reduced the minimum registration term for .Me domains from 2 years to 1, so it compliments the change well to now have it on sale for those who haven't yet bought their .Me."
This isn't the only significant domain update released by Easyspace in recent weeks. Just last week it announced a new Google AdWords promotion, offering domain customers free Google AdWords Vouchers with domain sales. Prior to that, Easyspace also announced the launch of its innovative new Park 'n' Profit service, allowing its domain owners to generate revenue through their own personal domains.
