Web host HostMySite has received a Data Center grant, it was announced recently. The news came in an announcement by Governor Ruth Ann Minner, Governor of the State of Delaware, and Lou Honick, HostMySite.com’s Founder and Chief Strategy Officer.
“HostMySite.com's confidence in the state of Delaware and our partnership with the company is a testament to my Administration's dedication to growing our technology-based industries,'' explained Governor Minner. ''I am extremely pleased that HostMySite.com continues to choose Delaware as the perfect location to expand.''
The company, who moved into a new international corporate headquarters in Newark, Delaware earlier this year, will expand its Delaware operations bringing in 75 new “high-wage jobs” over three years. The Delaware Economic Development Office (http://www.dedo.delaware.gov) has awarded HostMySite.com a “Strategic Fund Grant” of $274,000 for the purchase of three new generators required for the company's data center expansion. According to the company, the investment will “generate an additional economic impact of $3.5 million, bringing the company's total economic impact to more than $16.5 million annually”.
