SiteLock have formed a partnership. As a result of the partnership, SiteLock is now being offered to IX Web Hosting's customers and its new premium shared hosting signups.
Established in 1999, IX Web Hosting caters to around 115,000 customers and supports around 470,000 unique websites. The company specializes in hosting sites that run Open Source Content Management Systems (CMSs) such as Joomla, Drupal, and WordPress on Linux or Windows servers. The company caters to a number of small businesses and underpins its offerings with a high level of technical and customer service.
Established in 2008 and headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, SiteLock adds additional security to IX Web Hosting's services. Its solutions are currently utilized by more than 1,000,000 websites. SiteLock provides daily website scans that pick up malware and send instantaneous alerts to account holders. IX Web Hosting's customers can also migrate to enhanced plans that remove malware and provide web application firewalls.
