Web Hosting and Cloud Services Provider DreamHost Announces Additional Nonprofit Support
Web host DreamHost has announced its intention to support nonprofit organizations in the United States. With headquarters in Los Angeles, California, United States, DreamHost caters to around 400,000 individuals and businesses, offering a range of options with particular focus on ‘DreamPress’ – its managed WordPress solution. The company has suggested that “verified 501(c)(3) organizations can now take advantage of lifetime-of-service discounts on DreamPress”.

DreamHost is no stranger to supporting nonprofits, providing services to “thousands of nonprofit groups”. As organizations grow and mature their hosting needs become greater and DreamPress offers a means of obtaining the hosting services they need beyond traditional shared hosting. A “custom-built WordPress hosting environment”, DreamPress offers a range of benefits including server-level caching and distributed database access. It also provides encryption to add a robust level of security to services. Nonprofits can now access DreamPress at only $12.95 per month charged on an annual basis, or $14.95 on a monthly basis.

“We see it happen quite often—nonprofits outgrow their shared hosting accounts and hold back on upgrading due to cost,” explained DreamPress’ Product Manager, John Robison. “We hope to help nonprofits get the performance and scalability they need by offering this discount on DreamPress. We’re eager to give back, especially at this time of the year!”
