August 14, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider AIT (http://www.ait.com) has opened offices in a number of metropolitan areas and converted members of its 8,000-strong reseller program into dealers carrying the AIT brand.
“This is the logical evolution for our resellers,” said AIT’s Chief Executive Officer Clarence Briggs. “The challenge is to get them to think beyond web design or hosting, to look at the larger picture of technological possibilities.”
According to the company, AIT’s approach has already reaped a level of success including the successful conclusion of a “seven-figure deal in Pittsburgh” and the possibility of “an even larger contract” in Atlanta. Briggs believes such agreements will become commonplace as the program matures.
“Every dealership community has areas it wants to redevelop,” added Briggs. “The dealership is a mechanism for developing properties, providing quality IT training, deploying locally-owned wireless networks, all of which lead to additional opportunity.”
