Web Hosting Provider AIT Offers Veterans Day Special

November 13, 2006
November 13, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – To commemorate Veterans Day, web hosting provider AIT (http://AIT.com) is offering a special promotion aimed at past and present military personnel. AIT is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned business and the special promotion was established ‘in deference to the company’s roots’.

AIT is offering veterans and ‘active duty personnel’ one year of free hosting with the purchase of a domain name. “This program gives back to our veterans; enabling them to create a website by which they can use for whatever purpose fits them,” explained AIT’s CEO and Founder, Clarence E. Briggs III, himself a Veteran. “This is a great opportunity for any veteran wishing to get on the Internet.”

“Look, when I first started the Internet was an explosive phenomenon. People were just excited to be online,” added Mr. Briggs. “Starting a business is difficult and the pitfalls are many. This is especially true for doing business on the web,” Briggs said. “It is my earnest hope that those Veterans wishing to take advantage of this offer do so, and we’ll be here every step of the way to help them succeed.”

Established in 1996 AIT is 80% “Prior Military” owned. The company has created more than 236 IT jobs and made significant investments into the regional economies it is a part of. It has been named twice to the Inc. 500 list of fast growing firms, 3 times to the Deloitte & Touche Fast 500 list, and named NC Entrepreneur Firm of the Year.
