April 21, 2006 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - Web hosting provider AIT (http://www.ait.com) has announced it has strengthened the free Spam Protection Service it offers to its customers. The company’s software provides a ‘barrier’ for Spam by working between the user’s email client and the Internet, monitoring and filtering incoming messages based on rules defined by companies who monitor proxy servers, RBL lists, and other spam senders.
“This is effective mail management for small businesses who don’t have the time or budget to institute intensive self-management systems,” suggested AIT’s Chief Executive Officer, Clarence Briggs. “The real benefit is there is no learning curve for the user; this tool is pre-configured,” added Mr Briggs.
The service requires a once only fee charged for pointing a user’s MX record. According to the company its email is free of junk and spam is automatically removed before it hits an inbox. “This tool looks at phishing sites and possible issues with HTML newsletters, like viruses and bad links,” concluded Mr. Briggs.
