February 8, 2006 - (HOSTSEARCH) - Web hosting provider and domain registrar Easyspace has announced the launch of a ‘Whois Privacy’ service that restricts access to key online information about domain name owners.
The service allows domain name registrants to ‘hide’ personal information (name, address, telephone number, etc.) from Internet users in a bid to stop those with malicious intent accessing such information.
Launched February 3, 2006, the service has been an immediate success with numerous new members signing up for the service. It is one of a number of Easyspace initiatives designed to make PCs, email and personal details safer on the Internet.
