Web Hosting Provider Codero Makes John Martis President and CEO
Web hosting provider Codero Hosting (Codero) has made John Martis its new President and CEO. With head offices in Overland Park, Kansas, United States, Codero Hosting was established in 2009. The company operates SSAE 16-certified data centers in Dallas-Fort Worth, Phoenix, and Ashburn, Virginia, United States. Its services extend to dedicated, managed and hybrid hosting alongside cloud hosting options. Mr. Martis was formerly the CEO of Chicago, Illinois-based HIPAA-complaint managed hosting provider, Hostway Services, Inc. (Hostway).

Mr. Martis takes over the CEO position from Leo Staurulakis and Bill King – both currently co-CEOs. He becomes effective in his new role September 5, 2017. Both Mr. Staurulakis and Mr. King remain on Codero’s Board of Directors, with Mr. Staurulakis remaining as Chairman of the Board. An industry veteran, Mr. Martis’ previous roles include founder of the ISP American Digital Network. He also played an important role in Hostway’s transition from a shared host to a managed hosting and dedicated server provider. Additionally, he held an executive position at Kansas-based Abacus America Inc. where he was in charge of data center operations, system engineering and software development.

“Codero provides sophisticated products at scale so that all companies, regardless of size, can leverage advanced IT solutions at their own pace,” explained Mr. King. “John’s proven track record of engaging customers and leveraging strategic partnerships will be instrumental in Codero’s continued growth.”
