DreamHost has announced the launch of ‘Remixer’ - it’s new website builder. DreamHost, which has headquarters in Los Angeles, California, United States, specializes in WordPress solutions. The company offers a solid range of services including shared hosting and Virtual Private Server (VPS) offerings alongside dedicated server hosting and domain name registration. It is also well-known for its ‘DreamObjects’ cloud storage service and ‘DreamCompute’ cloud computing service. Remixer is available to DreamHost’s customers as of today.
Remixer is a “click-to-edit” website building platform that is available free of charge for the users of any of its DreamHost hosting plans. It provides a good selection of “professional themes and 70+ optimized content layouts” designed to give a website a unique look and feel. The platform also allows videos and images to be added to sites and users can quickly embed platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, and SoundCloud. Remixer themes also allow users to quickly add customer contact forms and maps to sites. “Hundreds of thousands of free graphics and images” are available to DreamHost customers that use Remixer.
“Our web hosting customers kept saying it: creating an engaging, customizable website is still too much of a challenge to get up and running – existing platforms are still too complex,” explained the Product Manager of Remixer, Ralph Castro. “It became clear that there was a need for a website builder that was not only fast and a piece of cake to use, but that also gave users control over the information they share and how they share it. DreamHost’s plans start at $7.95 per including Remixer. For a limited period plans also offer a free domain name.
