Web Hosting Provider Hetzner Online is PC-WELT's "Brand of the Year 2014"

Web hosting provider and data center operator Hetzner Online is PC-WELT's "Brand of the Year 2014". PC-WELT is the German arm of monthly global computer magazine PCWorld, which is published by IDG. The magazine carries out an annual survey which evaluates ICT and consumer electronics brands.
In the most recent survey, the 21st in the magazine's history, around 27,000 readers voted for companies in 16 product categories. Hetzner Online was awarded "Brand of the Year 2014" in the "Webhosting" category's 'Business' and 'Private' sections. Alongside this award, the company was also voted "Technology Winner 2014" in the "Webhosting - Private" category. It also finished second in the 'Business' section.
Established in 1997, Hetzner Online caters to a broad global base of private and business customers. The company's services include "high-performance hosting products" and the infrastructure required for the "efficient operation of websites". The "Brand Awareness International 2014" awards consider purchasing behaviour in the consumer electronics and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sectors. PC-WELT's readers are asked to "identify quality brands" and which brands perform the best in relation to cost.
