April 20, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Host Color has announced that it will add PHPList as a component of its web hosting plans. PHPList is an Open Source mailing list client that allows users to send newsletters to an email list. The addition applies to customers purchasing Host Color’s Max, Mega and Multi Domain service plans.
"The newsletter software that we offer is meant to be used by website owners operating legal opt-in mailing lists. We are very strict in our anti-spam policies. Host Color constantly receives feedback from spam blacklists and networks such as AOL. Our system administration team does its best to prevent any spam from exiting our servers," suggested Stoyan Marinov, Host Color's Chief System Engineer.
PHPList is provided as a pre-installed option available through Host Color’s NextColor 2 control panels and is installed automatically. The addition comes as part of a number of Host Color initiatives which include a new multi domain web hosting plan that enables website owners to host up to 10 different websites under a single account. Alongside pre-installed scripts, the plan offers 10 GB of disk space, 200 GB of data transfer and SSH access.
