January 16, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH) – Web hosting provider Host Color (http://www.hostcolor.com) has announced it has introduced PhpMyVisites to its hosting plans. PhpMyVisites is a web statistics system that utilizes JavaScript, PHP and a MySQL database to record and track web site visitors. The system will be made available to current Host Color customers through their hosting plan control panel.
"The advantage that PhpMyVisites has over similar systems is that it is quick, functional and very flexible. By using it our customers can track the visits to a number of websites they run, even if they are not all hosted by Host Color,” said Stanimir Dimitrov, a Host Color developer. “PhpMyVisites creates a snippet of JavaScript code that users need to put on a website to include it in the tracker," he added.
PhpMyVisites provides the detailed data website administrators and managers need to make decisions on website promotion. Such data includes reports on countries visitors to a site come from as well as details on referring sites and search engine keywords.
