September 27, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Host Department has announced the launch off a new service called ‘Domain for Life’. According to the company the service enables customers to obtain and keep a domain name for “the rest of their lives”.
Host Department suggests those wishing to own an internet address for business or personal use can sign up for a hosting account with Host Department and “automatically earn the right to their domain names for the rest of their lives”. The only condition is that in order to own the domain name for life “customers have to hold a hosting account that is still active at Host Department”.
“Domain names are the gateway to which visitors access your website’s contents, but catchy and easy to remember domain names are not easy to get hold off,” suggested Host Department’s Business Development Manager, Peter Vontainne. “Once customers found their chosen domain name, they will want to make sure it stays theirs. What we are offering here is a chance for them to own a piece of the internet for life.”
