According to the company, it is the first provider to offer ColdFusion 8 Enterprise Edition to its hosting offerings. HostMySite, an Adobe Solution Partner, was also the first to offer the beta version of the solution, codenamed Scorpio.
According to the company, ColdFusion 8 is a fast and easy way to create Internet applications. It solves the day-to-day challenges faced by developers, integrates in complex enterprise environments and delivers rich and engaging application experiences for users. Particularly well suited to dynamic Internet applications using a variety of databases, ColdFusion enables developers to extend and customize the ColdFusion scripting language, CFML, through custom tags, reusable object-based components and user-defined functions, as well integrate with Java, .NET and SOAP web services.
