April 15, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Intermedia.NET (http://www.intermedia.net) has announced it is offering a free download of Microsoft Entourage for Mac to its customers. According to the company this is this is the first time Entourage has been made available as a free download.
Entourage 2004 is similar to Outlook 2003 for PCs and lets Mac users use Microsoft Exchange as an advanced email and collaboration server. Customers signing up for Intermedia.NET’s hosted Microsoft Exchange service are able to download Outlook 2003 or Entourage for Mac free of charge.
“Many industries use the Mac as a standard office computer and wish to take advantage of Microsoft Exchange’s productivity-boosting features,” suggested Michael Choupak, CEO of Intermedia.NET. “Now that Intermedia.NET offers Entourage as a free download, companies using Macs can sign up and get started with a cost-effective hosted Exchange solution in a matter of minutes.”
