Web Hosting Provider Introduces ‘The Media Wiki’

October 28, 2005 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting and Internet presence solution provider, Aplus.Net has introduced ‘The Media Wiki’ to its customer service range. The Media Wiki is a web-based design and editing tool that allows a number of users to work together on a single project. Wiki software was used to produce Wikipedia.org, Wiktionary, a Wiki-based dictionary, WikiQuote, a source of quotations. The system allows web page creation to be done entirely online with uploading or FTP requirements.

“At Aplus.Net, our goal is to release cutting-edge technologies that are also intuitive and simple for our customers to learn and use. The Media Wiki is available immediately to most of Aplus.Net’s web hosting customers at no extra cost and is accessed through its web hosting control panel alongside around 80 other features. The system is one of a number of technologies that Aplus.Net has made available to its customers. It is the latest in a line of recently introduced options including an Image Gallery tool and a new website builder.
