October 16, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider and data center operator Liquid Web has announced a “Free Double The Ram!” promotion to celebrate the opening of a new Data Center. The center, named “DataCenter2”, is located in Lansing, Michigan and was formally opened September 14 2006.
DataCenter2 houses around 8,000 servers and offers capacity that allows data to be transferred at more than 4.8GB per second. The “Double The Ram” promotion applies to any new server order.
The Grand Opening Ceremony to launch DataCenter2 featured a ribbon cutting ceremony by Mr. William Sepic, Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce President. Former Lansing Mayor David Hollister and Delta Township Supervisor Joe Drolett were also present.
Established in 1997, Liquid Web Inc. provides a range of web hosting services. The company now has 2 data center facilities, both in Lansing.
