The new solution utilizes “state-of-the-art desktop encryption software” which allows businesses and consumers to send and receive encrypted email messages.

There are an estimated 400 million Outlook and Outlook Express users and some of these are impacted by data protection regulations. MessageGuard ensures that only the intended recipients can open emails regardless of email service provider using Identity-Based Encryption (IBE) technology. The system does not require the exchange of passwords, keys or certificates like some other services.
