March 3, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider SiteGround (http://www.siteground.com) has announced the launch of a free hosting program that will reward existing customers with free hosting for new customer referrals.
The promotion leverages the key vehicle for the company’s growth over the last year. “We saw that many of our clients refer new customers without expecting anything in return, just because they like our hosting. We thought we may start rewarding them and stimulate them further to recommend our services. That's how we came up with the Free Hosting program,” said SiteGround’s Marketing Manager, Ms Yakimova.
SiteGround has designed a number of banners and text links customers can choose to place on their site. Customers get unique referral links that enable SiteGround to track if referrals acquired through a site actually lead to sales. The company’s statistics indicate that 20% of its customers do not currently pay renewal fees because they have earned free hosting though acquiring new customers.
