Such initiatives are applauded within the industry and there is a drive for all web hosts to offer such statistics on an annual basis. SiteGround statistics show that in 2005 the company managed an average of 99.98% uptime of all its servers. During the year 75% of servers that were more than a year old were replaced with more powerful machines and the server uptime of these machines has been 100% since launch.
The companys customers feel that the level of technical support SiteGround provides allows the company to stand out from other hosts. 90% of support tickets generated were rated excellent while 92% of the tickets were answered within 15 minutes. Around 85% of these tickets were resolved within 15 minutes.
As well as the speed of SiteGrounds support, the free services the company provides (free script installation, free account transfer from previous host, etc.) also proved a draw for customers. The self-help tutorials and forum offered by the company also proved very popular.
