July 20, 2007 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Zen Internet, whose services include web hosting, is helping a teacher involved in a charity cycling tour, it was announced yesterday. The company is supporting Business Studies teacher Tony Ashworth who will cycle 12,000 miles around the world in a bid to raise funds for UK-based charity, Springhill Hospice. His quest starts today.
Zen Internet has an ongoing commitment to Springhill Hospice, hence their involvement in Mr. Ashworths project. Zen provided a cash donation and website space for www.fatashysworldtour.co.uk, the project website. We really appreciate the advice, support and sponsorship of the website from Zen. It is great to add a technical element to increase donations for this tour, explained Mr. Ashworth.
At Zen we work to promote Corporate and Social responsibility across all levels and projects like this, with a link to a local charity like Springhill, allow us to develop this further, added Zen Internets HR Manager, Caroline Taylor. Being able to offer a website hosting service in addition to a cash donation allows us to bring in our business expertise to help those involved in the cycling tour.
