has designed an IT-optimized ‘Rehabilitation and Resettlement System’ for Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (MMRCL) which has achieved a SKOCH award. Web Werks, which has headquarters in Mumbai, India, was established in 1996. The company is recognized as being one of India’s leading providers and maintains carrier-neutral data centers in India and the USA. The company is also ICANN accredited and provides domain name services. MMRCL received a SKOCH Silver Award.
MMRCL bills itself as “redefining transportation” in Mumbai, India. The organization has the mission to “build a reliable, sustainable and energy efficient Mumbai metro rail line 3 network” for the city. Its Rehabilitation and Resettlement System is hosted by Web Werks’ data center in Mumbai. The system manages data related to compensation for members of the Mumbai community that have to be moved to a rehabilitation area. The system provides transparency, enhances efficiency, and streamlines record maintenance processes and procedures. The news comes alongside MMRCL being recognized with the SKOCH Order-Of-Merit award for being one of the ‘Top 100’ projects in India.
