Forbes.com Extends AT&T’s Web Hosting Contract

October 12, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Forbes.com has extended a contract for the web hosting services it has received from AT&T (http://www.att.com) over the last two years, it was announced recently. As part of the agreement, Forbes.com, a world-renowned source of business news and information, will continue to store networking equipment and critical data at a secure AT&T Internet Data Center (IDCs).

Alongside utilizing AT&T’s hosting, Forbes.com will utilize AT&T's Intelligent Content Distribution Service (ICDS) to enhance site performance and cater for traffic surges caused by breaking news and “special publishing events”. Alongside standard telcoms services, AT&T Inc. offers IP-based business communications services and wireless, high-speed Internet access and voice services. The company is known for its Yellow Pages products and YellowPages.com.
