Global hosting services provider
Leaseweb has announced it is making its data center services available to iGaming companies. Leaseweb is a global provider of dedicated servers, colocation, public and private cloud-related services and cyber security options through eight data centers in Europe, Asia, and the United States. Established in 1997, the company manages around 80,000 servers and has around 17,500 customers through subsidiaries in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and the Netherlands. The company also has a significant presence in Singapore and Asia. The company’s latest move will prove a benefit for the growing global iGaming market.
iGaming is a multi-billion dollar industry. Leaseweb’s global hybrid architecture (IAAS) will benefit the industry because it will enable companies to “create combinations of interconnected infrastructures”. Leaseweb customers include “licensed operators, software companies, online casinos, gaming platforms, sportsbook, and payment providers” and by making all of its data centers available to iGaming companies it is aiming to achieve an even larger share of the available market. News of the move came against a backdrop of Benjamin Schönfeld recently joining Leaseweb Singapore and Marcus Busch joining Leaseweb Germany as Managing Director.

Our ‘Legal & Compliance’ teams have now streamlined our KYC Customer Verification procedures and processes to pave the way for licensed iGaming companies around the world that operate in regulated markets to be hosted in our global data centers.”
