Indian Web Hosting Provider MilesWeb Launches New and Improved IaaS and PaaS Platform
Indian web hosting provider MilesWeb Internet Services Pvt Ltd. (MilesWeb) has launched a new and improved Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) platform. MilesWeb, which has headquarters in Nashik, Maharashtra, was established in 2012. The company offers a range of “high-caliber web hosting solutions” including shared, reseller, VPS, dedicated server, and cloud hosting options. It also offers SSL certificates and domain name registration options. According to MilesWeb its improved IaaS and PaaS platform “busts every myth related to cloud hosting”.

MilesWeb suggests that many cloud users find it difficult manage cloud costs. As a result, they waste about 45% of their cloud budgets. To overcome this issue MilesWeb is offering a fully auto-scaling public cloud hosting platform that is available on a genuine “pay per use” basis which ensures users only pay for the resources they use. This saves companies time and money, and helps them avoid vendor lock-in. The solution also gives companies a means to address “large or unpredictable workloads”. Users enjoy the benefits of automatic “vertical and horizontal scaling, elastic compute, server load balancing, Docker containers, resource orchestration, DevOps automation and immediate application deployment”. The platform provides access to applications like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and Magento through its ‘Marketplace’.

“The resources you need for your application might not be the same always, they might differ and in order to keep up with the resource needs and to ensure cost-effectiveness, you need a platform that works according to your resource requirements,” explained a MilesWeb spokesperson. “Our cloud platform completely works on the discretion of the users; the user can scale up or down whenever required without any manual intervention or downtime”.
