Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider
iWeb has added Elya McCleave to its executive team. Ms. McCleave will work with a team pulled from a range of iWeb departments whose responsibility it will be to ensure the organization maintains a clear focus on customer service, technical support and client satisfaction, especially as it expands into the areas of managed technical and professional services.
iWeb caters to a 20,000-strong customer base in around 150 countries. Its services include on-demand server and cloud infrastructure options. Based in Montreal, Canada, the company has been in operation since 1996. Ms. McCleave is recognized as a web hosting industry veteran and brings 12 years of hosting industry experience to her new position.
"My mission is to build an even more customer-centric culture and empower employees," explained Ms. McCleave. "I'm looking forward to motivating, challenging, and helping people fulfill their potential. Surveys suggest that reliability is what customers value the most, but really, reliable service is a crucial element of the bigger picture. iWeb's client-base has become very diverse, and customers need a reliable, flexible and responsive IaaS provider; a partner to fill an increasingly important space in their operations."
"'Our customers are at the heart of everything we do at iWeb," added Christian Primeau, President and COO of iWeb. "As our services, technological environment, capabilities and capacity grow, so too do the needs and expectations of our customers. Elya's track record of creating customer-centric environments has made her a customer service guru in this industry."
