Web host Combell
is leveraging solutions provided by email security company SpamExperts. Combell, which was established in 1999, has headquarters in Gent, Belgium. The company offers a wide range of hosting services including Drupal, WordPress and Magento hosting alongside database hosting and SSL certificates. It also offers VPS options, cloud servers, dedicated servers and domain registration - with a 67,000-strong customer base Combell manages over 200,000 active domain names. The company has also joined SpamExperts’ ‘Hosting Partner Program’.
Netherland-based SpamExperts provides a wide range of email security solutions (including both inbound and outbound email filtering services) hosted either on its hosted cloud or on its customers’ local cloud. The company’s services are tailored to the needs of customers that include shared web hosts, ISPS/Telcos and other “large organizations”. Its solutions replace a software and services-based solution that was developed by the company which proved to be “resource-draining”. After initiating SpamExperts’ offerings the number of unsolicited and malicious messages Combell received was “drastically reduced”.
“We chose the Local Cloud deployment because we host all of our solutions on our very own platforms,” explained Combell Team Lead Platforms, Wesley Hof. “Working with SpamExperts was a no-brainer because of their expertise in regards to spam and how to combat it. We've also converted other brands to the SpamExperts way of keeping inboxes spam free. Less spam for our customers, plus less pressure on our support team and easier management of related support tickets makes SpamExperts the perfect solutions for us. They have helped Combell before even becoming a customer, and the same level of commitment was maintained after the contract was signed. This level of customer commitment is refreshing to see and we clearly identify with it. Now, we use SpamExperts to filter nearly all of our domains, both incoming and outgoing,” he added.
