Aired at prime time on ITV1, Channel 4, Five, SKY1 and SKY News, the advertisement is part of a campaign targeting smaller companies by indicating just what is required for a successful business website. It features the company's online website development application, 1&1 MyWebsite.
1&1’s advertisement will cover key aspects for the success of an online presence. These include Search Engine Optimization (SEO) elements and the power of social media. It will also stress the importance of applications that give a website increased functionality. The advertisement's tagline “a website created by you” highlights the fact that 1&1 customers can easily create a business website even with extremely limited levels of website building experience.
1&1’s advertising also highlights 1&1 MyWebsite's ability to produce mobile-optimized websites that meet the needs of some 120 industry sectors, and features its drag and drop capability for 67 web apps that provide the ecommerce, communication, social media, or business management functionality a successful business website might require.
