April 4, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider iWeb Technologies (http://iweb8.com/) has received $1,000,000 in financing for server hardware, the company announced yesterday. The financing was received from the Bank of Montreal (BMO) in Canada and represents additional funding to that previously announced.
The financing will enable iWeb to purchase server hardware to further establish dedicated server services, an area where the company is “enjoying substantial growth”. Funds might also be used to purchase computer equipment for iWeb’s two data centers.
"After financing the expansion of our data centers, it was time to fund the purchase of servers to be installed, for the most part, in phase two of the iWeb-CL facility. It's mainly by leasing out this hardware that the company will be able to maximize returns on its investment," explained Martin Leclair, iWeb's Cofounder and Chief Operating Officer.
Established in 1996, iWeb offers shared hosting, dedicated servers and colocation services. The company provides services in English, French and Spanish to customers in more than 140 countries.
