Used for several years
We used D.ASp for several years and ran a number of networked sites. It was critical that this plc had good uptime and was well technically supported, with simple admin and good communication.

Great Hosting Service
So far, we've been very pleased with DiscountASP.NET. We've hosted three commercial sites with them now, and have never had a problem. The control panel takes some getting used to, but provides quick access to everything you need.

Great Reliability
Sometimes you pay a little more to get better quality. I feel this way about DiscountASP .NET. They are reliable, responsive support, great speed, and maybe a dollar or two more a month than some of the very cheap not-so-reliable providers.

These guys rock!
Setup was fast and very easy, adding extras and upgrading through control panel is a breeze. I've only needed service a couple of times, but they are extremely responsive and knowledgeable. I've been learning a lot from the forums and knowledge base.

Very reliable, affordable and responsive support team. They always support the latest technologies and they integrate very well with the developers tool, which is a huge plus for me.

you get what you pay for
Pretty good service for what it costs. Be aware that they don't mirror any servers, so if their database server gets hosed, you will lose your data. I wouldn't recommend them for anything serious.
Company Response: We back up databases and sites daily, so data is never completely lost. Mirroring and backing up are two very different things though. Mirroring databases is EXTREMELY expensive and complex so no shared (or inexpensive) host does it. No one, including us.

Don't use DiscountASP.Net!
I used this service for all my clients and and was happy with it for over 5 years. When one of my sites was attacked by a very novice hacker, they didn't know how to fight back, so I had to move my site to Azure and counter the attack myself. LAME!
Company Response: Hi Greg. If you recall, we did help, but unfortunately we can't block a new list of hostile IPs every day. When someone is determined to kill your site, a shared server isn't typically the best place to be. I'm glad you're doing better now.
