I would not do business with them again for any reason. It is slow and will affect your google ranking. Account issues are never replied to. If they have an issue with billing, even if it is their fault they will shut down your site and delete it.

Company Response: We have 2 datacenters (US/EU), speed is not an issue. She issued a chargeback for services rendered & was given option to reverse chargeback or pay for service, but refused to do either. Due to this account was cancelled as we do not provide free services

Just set up my first account with them, and I have to say I'm very impressed. When I emailed them with a setup query I got a reply within 5 minutes, and had my site running within 10.

Not bad for 12 months @ $60!

Absolutely the worst experience. Having hosted websites, sql server, and TFS Source Control The support is pretty much non-existent. Statements on their service from support "You chose a hosted platform...." so deal with it essence when problems.

Company Response: We asked this customer to elaborate on his issue. Instead of doing so, he quickly got upset & defensive when we asked him to do this. It’s difficult to help a customer if he is not willing to cooperate and provide us with more detailed information.

I am a webmaster and as of today DiscountASP is the worst web host I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. I've dealt with some bad ones before too. Their website lacks functionality. Tried to charge me $150.00 to transfer a domain to godaddy

Company Response: We DID NOT try to charge this customer $150. We renewed domain for customer in Dec 2009, which he did not pay for. In Dec 2010, he wants to use the domain, so we charged him for his previous year, this next year & processing fee which does not total $150

Very robust, the uptime has been exemplary and continues to amaze me. I like the custom interface which is pretty easy to use. Love the fully automated setup of new accounts. Very satisfied with the rare contacts I've had with support. (Using net 1.1)

DiscountASP.net services are cheap, fast and reliable. I recommend all my clients use DiscountASP.net. There has been zero downtime (10 years), even with updates and patches. Only problem is with ABCPDF.net, it doesn't work as advertised.

Company Response: Thank you for the great review. We have many customers that are successfully using ABCPDF.net as it is installed in the GAC (we also provide sample code). It would be best to contact our tech support staff for assistance.

Worst customer service ever... infact no conept of customer service... the referal program seems like a scam.. I had 100 $ in my account for more that a year and they never transfered them to my paypal!!!!..

Company Response: We did in fact submit payment via Paypal, like we do with all referrers but because of the country where this customer lives, he cannot accept Paypal payment. We emailed & offered to pay via check but he NEVER emailed us the info we need to send the check

As far as hosting is concern discountasp is a good provider but apart from that they are messing up big time I was suppose to get 100$ as part of their referal program but its been more that a year and some 5+ reminder all ending up no where! disappointng

Company Response: We pay our referrers via Paypal. Because of the country where this customer lives, he cannot accept Paypal payment. We emailed & offered to pay via check but we need info on where to send the check. He NEVER emailed us the info we need to send the check
