OK Hosting, but BEWARE. They will shut down your web site if your credit card expires and they DON'T notify you until afterwards. If your business depends on the web site, which many do, I woudl be careful using this company.

Company Response: Prior to renewal, we send multiple communications to customers, letting them know their account is coming up for renewal. Should an account get suspended for nonpayment, we always contact the customer. Please note, this reviewer still hosts with us.

My account is disappeared. I payed 60$ and I see this transaction on my bunking account. I setup account and uploaded application there and it works fine. After 1 day my account is disappeared. No response from DiscountASP.NET support!!!!

Company Response: This customer signed up using false contact information flagging this as fraud. We emailed this customer multiple times but the email bounced (invalid email address). We could not call this customer because the phone # provided was invalid (1.9999999)

Hosted for 2 years before switching hosting provider. I gave support every chance to fix the slow site response problem. I optimized the code but the site was still slow. I moved same site to and the site is NEVER slow. You have a problem!

Company Response: All of our servers are connected via OC48 connections. We never received emails from this customer of 4 years about slowness. For customers with speed issues, we tell them to run a traceroute & send the results to our tech support so they can assist.

Currently I am with another hosting. The reason was that I wanted to try PHP with lots of videos...etc, To be honest, the time I was with discountasp I received excellent service. Service and support is great. Truth be told I am thinking of returning

as a web developer, i am glad to go with someone who knows hosting. works great with the sitefinity cms we use and the database backup tool is handy. the only one time i needed to contact the support was answered quickly and professionally

Page response time is HORRIBLE. I contacted support many times and never got a fix. I even paid for two third party load testing companies to load test the site and found it quits at about 50 user. Support said load testing is unreliable. I'm leaving!

Company Response: This is a typical of an application that needs to be optimized, but need more details. We host over 30k sites. This is not the norm. Despite horrible hosting the customer stayed with us for 2 years. You can make up your own mind if that makes sense.

These guys are great. Support experience was by far the best I have had with ANY hosting company. The tools they have for their customers to use are great (check the SQL Server .bak tool etc...) Thanks.

Good with a lot of options. I especially like the ability to attach and mdf file to the database. The speed is just so slow. We are going to have to move to another host if they dont do something about it, especially during high traffic times.

Company Response: The automated attach mdf file tool is very cool. Without further investigation, cannot comment on speed issue. There are many things that are out of our control that can contribute to it.

Pretty stable although there is downtime, but web page respond time is horrible - specially during day time when their server is heavily loaded. The SAME app, I put it on a VPS hosting (same price I am paying), and the speed is 3 times faster.

Company Response: Our servers are not heavily loaded. We monitor the server health and only put sites on the healthiest servers. This is an isolated case, not a systemic issue. If this was the norm, there is no way we would be able to continue to win best hosting awards.
