I have used Siteground for over a year for multiple Joomla sites and find them very reliable. I did use GoDaddy, but found that they were not very receptive to the needs of Joomla sites. Siteground uses Cpanel and allows cronjobs.

To our surprise, response from Siteground is so quick, detailed answers are returned from their unique Helpdesk only minutes after we posted the questions. The tutorials are helpful. It's a great service.
