SherWeb has announced the launch of a new ebook and 'calculator' tool. The ebook has the title "Is Hosted Exchange Right for Your Business?" and provides a guide to the issues that determine whether cloud hosting is the correct approach for a company. SherWeb's Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculator provides an analysis of how much a company can expect to pay supporting on-premise Exchange email infrastructure and compares costs against cloud services offered by companies like SherWeb.
Established in 1998, SherWeb provides a 25,000-strong customer base in around 100 countries with SaaS, IaaS and PaaS solutions. The company's IT Managers, IT Architects and System Administrators developed the ebook and calculator and the company aims to give smaller and medium-sized companies the intelligence they need to make proper decisions as far as the cloud is concerned.
“Our goal was to provide an easy to understand, objective and comprehensive reference guide for decision makers that cuts through all the hype,” explained SherWeb's Hosted Exchange Product Manager, Rima Hatoum. “There are many other similar tools on the market, but none offer the same depth, granularity and transparency of analysis. We wanted users to understand the calculations and factors to be taken into account, so they can confidently decide for themselves if Hosted Exchange is right for their business.”
