SherWeb’s offering provides 3 GB of personal disk space per user per month, and offers a number of free additional features. These include “active sync mobile synchronization, advanced anti-spam filtering, the hosting of Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, and a copy of Microsoft Outlook 2007 software”.

SherWeb spent a considerable amount of money to upgrade and improve its infrastructure. As a result the company offers a “state-of-the-art” data center comprised entirely of carrier-class network hardware, featuring “100% redundancy at all levels”. SherWeb’s architecture is clustered and operates in redundant mode with failover to secondary servers. Data resides on fiber attached SAN working in RAID 5.
