I have experienced many hosts, and 2MHost have managed to prove to me that they are one of the best around. Fantastic uptime and flawless support for all the PHP modules you may need (PEAR, GD etc). It's unlikely you'll find a better value host around!

2MHost.com had the best price I could find for the features I needed. Of the few times I needed help, they helped fix my problem quickly. Most important, I feel I am in comunication with a living human being who listens, not the usuall Bot Brain.

No chance to test their "speed" as my site was never up! FTP couldn't connect - wasted about 10 hours on this (never had an issue with this) - and tech support were worse than useless.
With this host, you certainly don't get what you pay for- cheap host
