Slow speeds bad support
Download speeds were slow across the globe and Contabo would not admit fault. Moved to another provider. Refund of my unused balance was not allowed, but Paypal dispute pending. Their VPS servers do have massive amounts of RAM.

Among the worst VPS
I opt for the minimal EUR8.99 VPS.
At first it was OK, the from a day or two it started to become painfully slow and I cannot even type a word.
A check on memory showed a lof of free memory and no process running 100%

Good performance but often downtimes too often
Guaranteed uptime is only 95%, which is 1day and 12 hours a month of very possible downtime! Usually is during daytime, because Contabo doesn't do maintenance over night and they do it unusually often.
Can't recommend for any kind of webhosting.

Never use!
i tried to open a vps service with them and after payment it took nearly a week to active, fine i did not get instant setup, but after a few days the internet went off and showed limited access on VNC. takes a week to respond to emails and no refund. bad!

Pathetic Policies
so,
if you are late by 2 days in payment of invoice, they will charge you a massive re-activation fees and will delete your server , which will actually balance out any low cost service that you would have enjoyed with them .

Very fast anc cheap VPS
I bought a win 2012 VPS. Server was setup in less than one hour inclusing a call to help line to change selected plan over the phone. Never had any problem with it.
Network speed is always at the top and price is indeed very very competitive.

Υesterday CONTABO stole my money I had paid VPS service from 2nd of June, 2014 until 2nd of June, 2015.
I pay 278 Euro for 1 year but in 3 motnhs over charge me and stop my VPS without contact with me.. SKIP THEM
