It looks like I should have read these reviews before trying them, as my experience is the same as many of the 1 star reviews on here :(

I was trying to setup a Minecraft server for my son and his friends(which they never got to use), there was an issue getting a specific server type going that required support, I was strung along in their support system with no resolution for over a month!

Chat support was fast but could not help so I was asked to submit a ticket, I recontacted chat several times after hearing nothing about my ticket and they assured me it was now escalated and they would be in touch ASAP, weeks go by, I gave them several opportunities to fix the issue (or even just respond) before requesting a refund, after a month I am told that they can only refund in the first 24 hours...

So I as the customer gave them a chance to fix the problem, I gave them a month and they wave their terms in my face saying I should have refunded on day 1 and that's my fault...

As an Australian company I wanted to use these guys and support them, however they really failed to do anything except waste my time.

Avoid them, there are plenty of other excellent providers, like the one I moved to that solved the issue in 15 minutes.

Use literally any other server service
Ignored my tickets for weeks, refused to address my technical issues, refused to refund my service that was faulty from day one, LIED about refusing me a refund when I left a poor review on another review site and offered me one after calling me a liar.

You would be better off using any other service, Shockbyte doesn't care about your user experience, they only want your money.

This company is a fraud
This company Should be taken down it is a fraud and a scam a lie they make you pay for more than what you're going to get they make your server lag even when you cancel your service they still bill you they ignore your tickets even when you submit your ticket they will close your ticket do not go to this company there are many other domains out there that will give you good service for less than what they offer. They are a scam they are a fraudulent stay far away

Shockbyte SUCKS!
Shockbyte sucks. Orders a single server for ARK. I couldn't log in, online chat couldn't help, they just sent me instructions of how to log into my minecraft server. I have to tell them I didn't order a minecraft server. Wasted another 90 minutes being bounced around to different people. Finally gave up when they sent me instructions again on how to log into my minecraft server. haha Put in a request to cancel (not easy to do) and walked away figured they can keep my $12. Then two weeks later noticed they charged my card not for one, but for two servers. In addition to the server charges there were international charges on my card as well since they are not USA based. Had to call my credit card company, reverse both charges and have them cancel that card and send me a knew one. DO NOT USE SHOCKBYTE, these guys suck and are scammers. Try and cancel anything you buy on their site, no way to do it, just takes you to fill out a service ticket which they ignore and then double charge you.

Server runs great, but support...
Server runs great but support sucks...sometimes been waiting for answers for days, even with "fast-track" enabled. As they failed updating a modpack on my server i quit. Never again.

A TOTAL SCAM!!
DO NOT USE SHOCKBYTE!! It is a total scam! You'll save yourself a lot of pain. They claim to be available 24/7, but they're absolutely lying. I've had to file a complaint with the Business Victoria government branch just to work towards a resolution. If you have trouble you should do the same. Start here (www dot business dot vic dot gov dot au /contact-us) and give them their business number (ABN: 40 626 765 455). Maybe they'll start helping their customers, or just shut down like they need to do. I'll be submitting a complaint with Google Ads next, because that is how I found this company of crooks.

This company is an absolute sham. The services do NOT work as advertised. They took my money and signed me up, but then they gave me a second invoice that says it's unpaid. I'm currently on my third overdue notice, even though they said it would be fixed within 24-hours. That was 96-hours ago!! They never helped me with any support tickets, and if they do respond they just send you a link to their knowledgebase which is out of date and not helpful at all. If you get on chat, it takes hours for a response (in my case days) and they usually just log off instead of helping anyone. There is no way to remove your credit card info, even after cancellation, and I'm sure they'll try and charge me again, because that's what scammers do. Fortunately I've already contacted my bank and showed them what was going on with these SCAMMERS!!

They have a "Money Back Guarantee" that is a complete lie and filled with outrageous criteria. If you decided you don't want their services, you have less than 24-hours to submit a cancellation. This is after they tell you it will take 24-72 hours for someone to get back to you. SCAM!! On top of that, if you don't respond to their request for an explanation, or attempt to "help" within 48-hours, they don't have to issue your refund. SCAM! If you file a complaint or dispute within that timeframe, they don't have to issue you a refund. TOTAL SC
