Awful support and customer service. Total scam
I signed up recently for Shockbyte to host a Minecraft Server. After multiple delays, my account was activated. After paying to upgrade to a dedicated server, I get a constant server crash. Unable to get any support. They also request you pay extra to fast track your trouble ticket. Avoid at all costs.

Horrible Customer Service
An accidental purchase was made and can't get it refunded since I can't get a darn response. Any free server is better, better bang for your buck and better customer service.

DO not purchase
Told I am getting a 10GB server was lucky to run at 3gb lol. Spend so much time trying to fix the lag. Tried different host worked perfectly at 6gb lol. NOT WORTH IT. Don't even try it takes 4 days to recieve costum service only answers if they want to or else they just dissapear anything to do with their processor and they just don't answer lol.
Just don't lol.

Terrible server "host"
I purchased a server 3 days ago now and have watched their ETA timer count from 7 hours and 57 minutes the first day to 20 hours two days in a row now. I have submitted 2 support tickets and contacted their live chat multiple times with absolutely no success. Their live chat might as well be run by a bot since they only ever use copy and pasted responses, and their ticket system is a scam all on it's own. For your ticket to ever get a chance to be looked at you have to pay an additional $3 CAD on top of the server costs. I could not recommend them to anyone at all in any scenario. If you do decide to risk purchasing a server from them then make sure you use PayPal so you at least have their buyers protection to back up on when no one answers your call for a refund.

Not reccomend!
I had gotten charged for 2 extra ervers and an upgrade when I did not authorize this, submitted a ticket to get it resolved, no help for several days yet when I submitted a ticket about anything else I was helped within an hour, I cannot reccomend them at all.

Update
So an update here to those that are still waiting for money to come back from refund requests. I contacted the payment provider and had them open a dispute and I contacted the ACCC on the company as well and with the dispute they contacted me in about 24 hours so highly recommended not using shockbyte and if your waiting for a refund do what I did.

the reason why Im giving 1 stars all around is when I went in to the settings for the servers I bought for Ark, I was not able to adjust the settings as easy as I could and the staff had no idea how to help me adjust this, so I went to cancel the servers and get a refund for everything, that was back on the 28th of Feb. They have yet to give me a refund after their refund policy states that they would give on no questions asked if it was before the 24 hour period, and each time Ive talked to staff in regards to this they keep telling me it would be 48 hours max or that they would pass it up, its taken me sending an email to the head of management and contacting paypal about this issue so I highly recommend that you stay away from them.

Don't let the pricing fool you
Where to start, first off the one click installs of mods is inaccurate. the knowledge base seemed really fast pace. the thing i have the biggest problem is tickets. my refund ticket has been open for one month and still no reply. when i contact the support, they just say they dont have the power and i have to wait for the ticket to be replied to. don't waste your time and go with a different server host. I will never trust them again.

I'm still waiting
I'm still waiting for my ticket to be reviewed that I submitted on January 28th, 2020 and it is March 7th. This is ridiculous, do not trust them. 24/7 customer support is a joke because you have to submit tickets for everything and they never respond

The server did not work and they refused to refund it after waiting up to a week for each response which did not offer any useful results solutions.
